A Life Devoted to Painting
Edward Juarez is a plein-air painter based in San Diego whose work has captured the beauty of California and beyond for more than six decades.
Working from his studio in the historic Spanish Village Art Center in Balboa Park, Edward paints landscapes, city scenes, and everyday moments inspired by the world around him.
His work is rooted in the tradition of painting directly from life — observing light, color, and atmosphere in real time and translating those moments onto canvas.
Over the years, Edward has traveled extensively, painting throughout California, Europe, and beyond.
Through each painting, his goal remains simple: to capture a moment in time that brings joy to those who see it.
“My passion is creating something that captures a moment that brings joy into someone’s life.”
